FEES & ID REQUIREMENTS
The following maximum fees for performing notarial acts are allowed by Texas law TGC 406.024(a) :
Acknowledgments $6 per signature
Jurats $6 per signature
Oaths/Affirmations $6 per person
Certified copies $6 per copy

The State of Texas requires that the following ID's be current:
Driver’s license
Nondriver's ID card
US passport
Permanent Resident cards
US military ID cards
In addition, for real estate transactions, a current passport issued by a foreign government may also be accepted
